Every evening at exactly six o'clock, a golden retriever named Biscuit sits alone at the bus stop on Maple Street, watching every passenger step off the Route 6 bus. The doors close. His person never comes. Rain or shine, Biscuit returns. The bus driver, an older man named Frank, starts noticing the dog through his windshield — same spot, same hopeful eyes, every single day. One cold evening, Frank steps off the bus, kneels down beside Biscuit, and quietly says: "He's not coming back, buddy. But I'm here." The next morning, the Route 6 bus rolls down Maple Street — and there in the front seat sits Biscuit, wearing a little bandana that reads "ROUTE 6 CREW", watching the road ahead with his new best friend.
