“Night. In the wheelhouse of a small ferry in a storm, young deckhand Noor tells old captain Elias, "Give me the wheel." He says, "Not tonight." Then, on the open deck at dawn, the storm is over; Elias hands Noor a mug of coffee and says, "You did well." She smiles: "I know."”
