At the Flagstaff, Arizona swimming Canada Paralympic training camp, the coach manages a practice while Emma coordinates the team. A small practical problem brings them into the same space, and professional attention quietly becomes personal curiosity.
- Emma: Is this yours, or did the pool steal it too?
- The Coach: It stole my morning. The folder is definitely mine.

After training, the two women step outside the pool entrance into the dry Flagstaff evening. Their workday is over, but neither wants the conversation to end.
- The Coach: Coffee, if you are done rescuing the team.
- Emma: Only if you promise not to bring the lane sheets.
Scene 3

Their relationship grows alongside their work. Across airports, hotel corridors, pool decks, and team events, the coach and Emma travel the world together with the Paralympic team, finding fun inside the demanding schedule.
- Emma: We are getting very good at finding fun between flights.
- The Coach: Then keep walking. Our next adventure is boarding.
Scene 4

In Montreal, the coach and Emma build a shared home between journeys. Their travel cases remain nearby, but the emotional center is no longer the next departure; it is the life they are making together.
- The Coach: It is strange seeing our whole life fit in one room.
- Emma: It fits because we keep bringing it home.
Scene 5
1 shot · 10sShot 5 · pov · 10s
The couple moves from Montreal to Morpeth, Ontario, trading city routines for a home on the lake. The move is physically messy and emotionally hopeful, with their puppy making the new place feel immediately alive.
- Emma: Listen. There is nothing here but the lake.
- The Coach: And us. That sounds like enough.
Scene 6

In their new Morpeth home, Emma and the coach settle into a slow life on the lake with their puppy. The final morning echoes the first pool scene: water remains present, but now it is calm, domestic, and shared.

- Emma: Good. The lake is already where we need to be.

“Can you make an animated video of our story? Emma and I met in Flagstaff Arizona on a swimming Canada Paralympic training camp. We then started dating. We travelled the world together for work with the Paralympic team. Me as coach and her as manager. We would always have fun when we travelled. We lived in Montreal.
