Mira, a weathered mountain guide in a rust-orange hiking jacket, leads her younger brother Jules up a snow-dusted ridge at sunrise to scatter their father's ashes at the summit. The wind picks up as they climb, and old resentments surface — Jules never forgave her for missing the funeral. At the top, Mira finally says the goodbye she couldn't say back then, and Jules takes her hand as golden light floods the peaks.
